How to Add the sensor:
1.Download the Smart life or Tuya Smart app.
2.Log in to the app and press “+” in the upper right corner to add a sensor.(No hub is required)
3.Turn on bluetooth and Wifi, App will automatically discover the door sensor
4.Ensure that the surface of doors and windows is smooth and clean.
5.The installation distance should not exceed 0.7 inches and these two parts need to be aligned by their alignment notch.

Pack Your Patience
I have decided to keep the sensor after finally figuring out the only way to make it work on our door is to turn it sideways. At first, I was going to return it. The sensor and magnet have to be almost on top of each other. And our door was just made further apart. Took me over an hour to get it working how I wanted.

Works great! Sometimes has a ten second lag but nothing crazy. Sensors must align to work but I had to flip one of them to fit the window. Overall, great product.

Technically works, but hard to keep attached
It works, but I had a lot of trouble with the smaller piece when installed horizontally. The double sided tape it came with failed within days. I used my own tape but the piece is so tall (sticks out so far) that the magnets caused it to move/lean towards the base, which caused it to stop working (has to be a specific distance away). Still trying to figure out if I can salvage it somehow.
