Easy to install, looks great
First ceiling fan I’ve replaced. So easy to do. This is so quiet. Fan speeds are nice and the light is super bright. Looks great. Nice and tight to ceiling. Great price. Going to buy another one for a bedroom. You can’t beat the price. And the remote is a added bonus!

Missing parts prevented me from using this product
Update:The mfg. reached out to me after seeing my review and offered a refund given my experience with their product. They also offered to send missing parts and support to fix any issues I was having. Although this does not change my original review of the product, and I’m not obligated in any way to change my rating, I do feel I should give credit to Ohniyou for the customer support that I received. I will not be keeping the fan, in fact I’ve already boxed it up for donation, but wanted to update my review and let everyone know the extent Ohniyou went to resolve my issues, as this may give you more confidence to try their products for your self.Update:I went to my local big box store and found some screws with the correct thread size to replace the missing parts. They were not an exact match, and I had to grind down the diameter of the heads to get them to fit down in the screw holes. They were also just a bit shorter than the mfg. screws, so I couldn’t get a lock washer on them. Probably not the safest since they could work their way loose over time without the locking washer, but at least this allowed me to install the fan and test it. After doing all this I found a lot to be desired about this fan.The only way to control this fan is with its remote or the useless generic app that you will have to download from China. I say useless because I can’t get it to work— at all! The physical remote itself is very cheap feeling, made of really thin plastic. When you press a button on the remote there is no indication that anything happens, and I feel like if I press too hard I will probably break the remote. While the fan has six speeds, it hard to discern the difference between levels, especially the lower one. I think speed setting one is way too fast, but I can’t really see a difference between speed “1” and speed “2”. It feels like really there may be three speed setting, 1, 3 and 6 where I can see and feel a difference in the airspeed. Based on my testing, I’m not changing my original rating. If you are looking for an inexpensive, cheap fan that looks good and will only get occasional use then this fan may be a good fit for you if you get one with all its parts, otherwise I would plan on spending a little more money and buying a better quality fan.——————————————————————-Original Review:After spending an hour assembling this fan the whole install was stymied by two missing fan blade screws! I was concerned about the quality of this fan from the start, while it looks nice aesthetically, the motor seems really small, and the individual parts are made of thin metal. Nonetheless, I was willing to assemble all the parts and give it a try, but as we know now I won’t get a chance to actually use it. The quality control amazes me sometimes, how much companies must lose in product returns due to 10 cents in missing parts. I wish I could tell you to buy this fan, but my experience thus far would advise you to spend a bit more and get a quality product.

Great fans and way install.
Perfect! We bought 2 of these. One for living room and a bedroom as replacements. We installed them ourselves. They are basically a plug and play install. I’m almost 80 and my daughter did the connections and I was the help! Clear instructions too! We live in South Florida and use our fans every day all year. They are a necessity to keep your cool and NOT have a gigantic AC electric bill. I recommend them and since we have fans in every room we will buy them again as we replace the others. Fan speeds and light variety along with the way of a remote make these the best fans and super affordable!

Great for smaller rooms
Smaller fan for spare room. Blade lengths are shorter compared to a larger fan. Comes with remote and so many functions I haven’t even used them all. Some of them are: Light fully on brightness or half dimmed, six speeds, reverse directions, turn light completely off and have fan running. Can even switch both off from wall outlet or remote etc. Looks good when up. Blades have two sided color for choice. Had friend put it up. If all parts assembled it should take 15min to install. It does a good job cooling the room but a bigger fan at speed five or six would be cooler. Price point was fair. If looking to use for a big main bedroom and like it extra cool, maybe not the fan for you. Otherwise it’s great for smaller room.

Sorprendente bueno este ventilador y de calidad buena, el aire es bueno y el motor es silencioso, lo único malo es que indica que se puede vincular el ventilador a una App para poder mover, sin embargo no tuve éxito en realizar el proceso y pare que no funciona su App pero eso es lo de menos, Muy buen ventilador

Llevo unas semanas usándolo y estoy contento con su funcionamiento…. A excepción de que no pude vincularlo con la aplicación de teléfono, pero con el control que trae incluido me es suficiente.
