Why is the motion sensor insensitive, failing to detect, or having a shorter range than advertised?
The sensor has 3 range gears. Install below 8.2ft to reduce blind spots. As an infrared sensor, its sensitivity/range slow/shorten when ambient temp nears body temp. Adjust the sensor angle flexibly for better performance.
Why does the light stay on constantly without motion-sensing function?
Check if it’s in override (constant-on) mode. To activate: Press the switch twice within 3s (stays on for 6hrs). To exit: Press once with >3s interval, or wait 6hrs for auto-exit to resume motion-sensing mode.
Can this light be ceiling-mounted? Why doesn’t the sensor work after ceiling installation?
It can be ceiling-mounted, but keep height ≤8.2ft. After mounting, rotate and adjust the sensor’s angle/direction to eliminate blind spots—this ensures the sensor works normally.
I’m missing parts or can’t install the light. What should I do?
Sorry for the inconvenience! Tell us for missing parts replacement. Installation is easy: Drill holes, fix the mounting plate with expansion screws, then embed the light. Check the detail page (with diagrams) and installation video for guidance.
Is the light body made of aluminum? How’s its heat dissipation?
The lamp head is aluminum; the mounting base and sensor are plastic. Its heat dissipation has passed temperature-rise tests, with temps within a safe range—no need to worry about overheating.

Meets expectations.
The light works as expected, directions for setting it not as clear as they could be. Te only question is how long will it last? Won’t know that for a number of years. The light output is plenty the motion sensor is sensitive enough. All in all, if it lasts 20 years, it is a good value.

Just installed it and it’s much brighter than our last light, which is what we were hoping for. Installation was quick and easy, but the operating instructions were abysmal. We pieced it together from the product listing and the pictures-only attempt on the installation booklet. I’ll put it here in case it’s helpful for the next guy:Manual Modes:Sensor Mode – Select by choosing a time (1, 3, or 10 minutes) and a distance (L = 0-20’ M = 0-39’ H = 0-69’). This will make the light turn on when it detects motion in the selected range, and stay on for the selected amount of time.Test Mode – Select by setting the switch on the light to “Test”. This will make the light turn on for 5 seconds when it detects motion. (Basically “Sensor Mode” with a shorter time.)Dusk-to-Dawn Mode – Select by setting the switch on the light to “Dusk to Dawn”. This will make the light turn on at dusk, and off at dawn. The light will shine at 20% brightness, but goes to 100% if it detects motion.Special Modes:Override Mode: Turn the light on quickly 2 times in a row – in less than 3 seconds (off, on, off, on) – to set the light into override mode. This will override the mode manually entered on the light, and keep the light on for 6 hours. For the first 12 minutes the light will be at full brightness. After that, the light dims to 80% brightness for the rest of the time.To exit override mode, just turn the light off for at least 3 seconds.We’ve had it installed for less than an hour so I can’t speak to durability, but it seems to be a good fixture, aside from the usage instructions that somehow are both too overcomplicated and too simple to be of use.Hope this helps!

WOW, that’s bright.
Purchased and installed three of these, and planning to purchase more. Very easy to install and set up, 10-15 minutes for each fixture (into existing electrical box). 180 degree sensitivity angle is accurate and range is just as described. One light is mounted at the top corner of our exit door; it turns ON immediately when you step out the door. Excellent amount of light, covering a very wide area. These fixtures are less expensive, with much more light, and a wider sensitivity area than the comparable fixture that I purchased at Lowes last year.

Love this light!
Love this light! It is easy to install, very bright and works perfectly. It triggers immediately when my little dog goes through the sliding door to the yard at night. That is exactly what is needed with coyotes and other critters in the neighborhood. A full product manual is available online with an internet search.
