Did the job
I bought this kit to fix a small nick in the top of a laminate table. It wasn’t deep enough to need putty, so I only used the paints. I was able to mix a few colors together to match it up pretty well. It did the job and the mark on the table isn’t noticeable, which was the goal. I did try using the furniture markers, but they were kind of weird/didn’t work out for my issue. Those would probably be better for a scratch type situation. I did think it was annoying that the shades of the markers and paints were not labeled on the actual product, but I figured it out. Overall, this kit served its purpose and the variety of colors included makes it worth it.

Works great and fast
I buy a lot of vintage and antique items and many of them need a bit of TLC to bring them back to life. I ordered this kit to restore wood. I found this original piece of art at a thrift store. I thought it was pretty but the frame needed work. The art is nearly 20 years old and the frame had a lot of chips. I cleaned it with Old English for dark wood and covered up the imperfections with a furniture markers (black and brown). It’s a very easy and quick project and the frame looks great now. It of course didn’t make it brand new but I think it’s looks beautiful again.The kit has other items but I find myself using markers the most.

The colors seem good and useable (at least at the moment), however the wood putty was dried out and unusable.I will need to repair the repair.If I did not need to do the work today, I would return the product.I assume this is not usual since I had heard good things about the product and this is just a quality control issue.

Great colors
This kit is great. It comes with lots of different colors so you can mix them together but the two colors I tried alone were still better than most of the other wood repair markers I’d tried. They just look more like actual wood tones instead of being unnaturally orange.

Love the markers, Creams & waxes
Love the markers, creams & waxes. I build office furniture for the last 12 years. Over the years there have been plenty of things that needed touching up. All depends on what kind of damage you have & where it’s at, depends on what is the better choice to use. I’m the go to person when it comes to touching up marks and damage. I’ve gotten really good over the years to where you can’t notice any damage by using these products. It definitely makes a hugh difference. Either when product comes in damaged or if someone made a mistake. The makers you just have to take your time and work on small spots at a time and have a damped towel just in case. Now as long as the damage isn’t on the top work surface. It’s fine to use the cremes or waxes but when you have damage to the top it’s hard to repuicate the finish shein to the surface. Most of the time you can cover it but you will notice the damage with the glare of the sunlight. Because it stands out because the finish isn’t the same. So on the legs or under side it’s great because you don’t have that glare right on top. But with waxes you can get that shine by after filling heat the wax lightly with a lighter. Then smooth it out and it does a nice job covering most things. They say the creams have the furniture shein in them and glue. But it stands out with the glare of light because it’s dull in sunlight. Just my opinion & just saying. But besides that it’s great product. Just take your time. One thing you can always remove it if it don’t look right and start again. It’s fixable. Remember to keep a wet rag and with the markers its best to keep a wet magic eraser also so if you don’t like the way it comes out you can erase it right away and start again.
