Perfect Iron for Busy Mornings
This thing has been a lifesaver for me and my wife, especially when we’re rushing out the door. It heats up fast, kicks out a ton of steam, and gets wrinkles out in no time. The power behind it is no joke. And you don’t have to deal with a cord because it’s retractable which is so awesome!It’s lightweight but feels solid, and I like that we don’t have to fight with a tangled cord every time we use it. The auto shut-off is a nice bonus too definitely gives peace of mind if you’re in a rush.Overall, super convenient and reliable. Couldn’t ask for more in an iron.

Best iron ever
This is hands down the best iron I got for my clothes! Super user friendly, heavy enough to not need to press against clothes, yet light enough to not get my arms sore. I love the finer corner, excellent to iron around buttons and edges. I also love the steam system. Works like a charm to all kinds of fabric. Even the most sturdy and difficult ones! But my number one thing I love about it is the safety system, that will turn it off in c amount of time in case it is left unattended! Aw, and the cord retraction thingy!? Just genius!!!

May Be Out of Date/Cannot Register It for Warranty
Haven’t used the iron yet, but according to previous Rowentas I’ve used, I expect it to do as it should. The reason for 1 star is there is no way to register the iron for its supposed 1 year warranty. The instructions that said to text a provided icon to a certain number would not let me complete the process because the form that was provided by text would not accept the model number and name. I tried 3 times with no success. So I went to the web site that was mentioned in the paperwork to register the iron. Again, I could not register it because there was no model like the one I received on their site. Because I’ve been extremely busy since I bought it over a month ago, today was the first day I had time to take it out of its box. I would return it, but the return window has expired. So it looks like I’m stuck with it. Everything will probably be OK in the end, but I am miffed that it seems that out of date models are being sold on Amazon. Lesson learned…before buying a rather pricey appliance, check the web site of the manufacturer to make sure it’s a current model.

I’m very happy with this iron! First of all, it has a beautiful, modern design — it looks great and feels comfortable in hand. It’s very practical to use: it heats up quickly, glides smoothly over fabric, and handles wrinkles with ease. It‘s a great iron!
Rowenta makes great irons! This is my 3rd. They cost more, but you get what you pay for. It‘s not over the top fancy. I have been ironing and like ironing for over 50 years. It‘s a good weight, smooth, easy to figure out, and I LOVE that retractable chord. It does the job and makes me happy while I am ironing.

Made in China. Although I searched Amazon for Rowentha made in Germany and it did return this model and although other info on the internet indicated that this high end model was still manufactured in Germany, it is manufactured in China. It does the work but definitely not as good with steam as my previous iron.
