Highly Recommend. Great Coffee. Looks Great. Low Price. I Got the Right One.
This machine does so much, and I feel like I paid so little. What a great cup of coffee–I had been using a mini 5 cup brewer for some time and this machine’s coffee is so much better. I love the strong brew feature–I feel like I am saving on coffee. The touch controls are slick, the clock looks great (not too bright, just right), and the strong brew, a set timer, and begin brew all have a confirmation light for each, so you know. The drip rate is as expected. Now, to my hand, the carafe lid’s flip-up thumb button and action seems a little squirrely, but I don’t really use it much anyway and has no impact on anything of real significance, it just seems to swing open and closed fast and my thumb has a hard time getting the feel right and controlling it. This is an attractive unit. The top lid action feels like quality, just keep in mind it requires about 7-inch clearance to open to access both the coffee basket and water reservoir, or you will have to slide it out like I do. The feet are able to slide without skipping so all is good. The filter actually works great (not typically a fan of permanent filters) and I actually use it as opposed to paper filters of which it will also accommodate. Set up is simple, but one word of caution. The pause brew feature uses a silicone piece at the bottom of the basket, and they kindly include a little bag with 2 replacements. That bag was in my water reservoir unbeknownst to me. I put water in it and saw in the window that bag float up and caught it before I started brewing coffee, as you will want to, too. They include a card explaining these extras, of which I failed to read, and see, at first. I highly recommend this machine. I feel strongly that I got the best kitchen coffee maker for the money and it looks great.

Brewed Coffee Level on Carafe Does Not Match Water Level on Coffeemaker
After using at least fifteen different automatic coffee makers over the years, expensive and cheap, my belief that it is the quality of the coffee used that matters most has been reinforced time and again. We have had delicious strong coffee from a twenty-dollar Proctor-Silex. This Shardor machine, which we purchased on sale, delivers very good coffee after some experimentation with water-to-coffee ratios. Filling the machine with water to the indicated number of desired cups results in about three-quarters of a cup less brewed coffee as indicated on the carafe. From the standpoint of getting desired coffee strength, the water level on the coffeemaker itself is dependable. The machine is fairly compact; the carafe doesn’t drip; the warranty, if you can believe it, can be extended to two years.

    Gets the job done
Moved into a new place and forgot that I had tossed my old coffee maker, so I needed something in a pinch. This does the job and makes drip coffee in a decent amount of time. I like the reusable filter, which is easy to clean. Size wise, it’s not a great choice if you are storing it under cabinets, be sure to check the height, especially with the lid open. I have to pull it all the way out from under the cabinets to open the lid. It also gets smudges and fingerprints easily on the “stainless steel” surface. Lastly, quite a bit of condensation buildup under the lid with each use. When you open it, it inevitably drips into the reservoir — not ideal. Like I said, it gets the job done at a decent price.

Makes a satisfying cup of coffee!
Replacing an existing coffee maker is never an easy situation, but this time around, the Shardor is completely satisfying. It brews fast, makes a nice, bold cup, and is easy to set up. We use paper Melita filters, which fit perfectly into the outer cone. An inner cone is also provided for those times when you run out of paper cone filters. It’s washable and works really well, too. The controls are right up front and the touch is all that’s needed to activate them. The hot plate surface is easy to wipe clean, too. Recommended!

Great coffee maker at great price
Works great and very nice looking. The color is a brighter red color than my old coffe maker which had a darker kind of burgandy/maroon tint. Simple to set up and operate. Easy touch controls, I have it set to turn on automatically every morning. I still usually use a paper filter with the screen even though you do not have to, just to make make it easier to get rid of the used coffee grounds. I definitely recommend this coffee maker, you can’t beat it for the price!!!!!

    Programable drip coffee maker
In the crowded field of drip coffee makers, the Shador 10 cup programable unit stands out. I have used several much higher priced drip coffee makers in the past but when I saw the Shardor model on sale I jumped to buy it. This very easy to use machine can brew up to 10 full cups at a time with a control built in which can adjust the strength of the coffee which is a definite plus. This unit comes with a nice, full sized glass carafe and a measuring spoon which allows the used to measure the amount of ground coffee accurately. This coffee maker is made, mostly, of heavy duty plastic coated to look like stainless steel and looks and feels solid enough to last for a long while. It comes with a 1 year warrant in case there’s a problem. The various touch screen buttons allows the user to set the time, to program the start function and to stop in mid brew if needed. Water for brewing is placed simply in the rear of the unit and there is an accurate measure of the volume contained on the side of brewer. There is permanent cone shaped filter which can be replaced with paper filters if so desired. This coffee maker was on sale when I purchased it and the prices was less than 1/3 of my previous coffee maker but even at it’s non-sale prices I think it’s a bargain. I have owned a Shardor coffee grinder in the past and have found that gem to work nicely and I expect this coffee maker to do the same. Recommended

    strong cup, small profile
i replaced an aging 14-cup Cuisinart with this 10-cup Shardor. it has the features i want: strong brew setting, cone filter (better saturation than basket-style), and programmable for half the price of a Cuisinart. i like the smaller profile. it takes up less space on my small countertop and makes a good, strong cup. recommended!

    Great coffee maker
A very nice coffee maker and looks good on the counter! Easy to use but it’s o ly a 10 cup and it sometimes leaks out the water reservoir hole. But it’s because I must put in to much water lol
