Very useful, Worth the bucks, Easy install, More than I expected.
I wanted a unit that would answer all of my power usage questions because we live in a storm prone area and generators and other alternative power sources are necessary. At the same time, I also wanted to monitor what the power company was supplying and how I was using it. For less than fifty dollars, this unit is worth it. I had priced local offerings and cost was way out of range. Installation is simple, however the instructions are lacking in appropriate detail suitable for the US market. If you know what you are doing around standard electrical installations, it is not a real problem. It should be connected through a dual breaker for 220V (L1 and L2), N is connected directly to neutral. The current sensors snap directly to the main feed power legs (110/110) coming into the circuit breaker box. It also should have some kind of a snap-on holder to mount it on to a near by stud or support what a similar 80 amp unit that I have has. Anyway, it only took about 15 minutes to install.Paring was simple as holding the button until a small light started flashing (a few seconds) the unit paired to my 2MQTT on HomeSeer and I assume that other smart home systems will do the same. I have included a screen shot showing what the unit displays which is far more than i expected.

Bad,is not functional.
I installed the meter but it never turns on. I think I should have guessed why it was at that price. It’s no good.

Wish it had screw type connectors instead of push type.
Had to order twice because first one was DOA.Giving three stars because the push type connector is unreliable, I used crimp type terminals for the AC, they don’t stay in place, could be very dangerous if the pop out and short circuit.

This device works well
The first one I received was DOA, but Amazon’s return policy fixed that problem in short order. The unfortunate thing was that I installed it to find out. These are NOT the easiest thing to install, you have to put the CTs around the main lines into the house, and you also have to get two wires to each phase of the incoming power for voltage sampling. There’s a total of seven wires you have to find someplace to hide. The little device is not waterproof, and the electrical code doesn’t allow devices like this to be in the mains panel. So, plan carefully before you start.Once you get it installed, your zigbee controller should pick it up just fine, and you are now measuring your power usage. I used a clamp meter to check the readings from the device and it was spot on.I’m not dropping the rating because of the bad one, that kind of thing happens sometimes, and I’m happily creating charts of my power usage to try and get things under control.

Quite good for the price
So this works quite well over several days it’s only off a few hundred watt hours from the meter –

Great product! Bad manual.
Installation was pretty easy to physically install. The Zigbee versions does not have an LED to use for knowing what is happening, it was not where the manual said it was at the very least. After hooking up to the panel holding down the power button for a few seconds put it into pairing mode which also was not in the manual. I assume the manual included in the zigbee version is actually for the WiFi version.Compared to the other z-wave or wifi energy monitors this one is priced very good for what you get.I use it with HomeAssistant through the Zigbee2MQTT integration and everything picked up once paired. I have issues setting the report time (default is 120s) but i think this has more to do with the antenna im using (an SMLITE SLZB-06M) and not the device itself. I was able to get it to refresh every 30 seconds but id like to get it to the lowest which is 5 seconds.
