Great mount very versatile
Love this clamp. I use to mount my go pro for front facing video on my Neewer overhead video rig. It can mount onto windows or anywhere the jaws fit. It has a 1/4” thread mounting pin so with GoPro I had to get an adapter. I thing got a second adapter to go from the go pro mount to 1/4” so that I can in affect add a second articulation and more length/ height, making it more adaptable.

Horrible, as soon as I tried tightening it, it was stripped, never got to use it and it’s broken and I waited too long to return so yeah, total waste – buy one of better quality you can actually tighten.

Good value for a good clamp.This thing is well-built and mostly metal.I have used it to mount my GoPro as well as LED lights. It has worked great for those applications and has been solid. I wouldn’t trust it with my DSLR or mirrorless cameras though.I haven’t had problems with it stripping like others (knock on wood), but I haven’t wrenched on the knobs either. I hope it holds up.Extremely versatile with all the angles you can position your camera/light and where you can mount it. I have more expensive and heavier duty clamps but as long as this holds up then this a good clamp for the price!

VERSATILE MOUNTING SOLUTION
This super clamp from CAMBOFOTO is just what I needed to secure lighting fixtures to table ledges, doors and other overhangs. One of the main features that distinguishes this model from other designs are the articulating cushioned pads at the tips of the clamp jaws. They make all the difference between a good clamp and a great clamp. The pads rest flat when clamped to an overhang, giving the clamp a sturdy grip. Designs that lack these pads can grip poles just fine, but they don’t do so well with overhangs. That’s because the jaws terminate with a V-shaped tip, and there’s just not enough surface contact to stabilize the clamp. I know, because I have one of those “other” clamps. And they just don’t work as good as versions that have the flat articulating cushioned pads.Another important design element of the CAMBOFOTO super clamp is the “magic arm”. Any accessory that has a standard 1/4”-20 female screw mount can be connected to the end of the magic arm, and then adjusted to just able any position. Thanks to the fully adjustable ball head joints, one at each end of the magic arm. Once the ideal position is achieved, the ball joints can be fixed into position with a large metal knob lock. It’s a robust system, with limitless adjustment options.👍 RECOMMENDATION 👍Overall, the CAMBOFOTO super clamp is a “must have” gadget for any hobby or profession. I’ll be using it with work lights, photography lighting, and even as a mount for full-spectrum plant grow lights. It’s really a remarkable super clamp, and this particular brand did it right. With quality components and a fabrication spec that’s spot on. I know I’ll be using it on a near daily basis. Grundsätzlich ein sehr gutes Produkt das meine Gopro auch mit einer zusätzlichen Armverlängerung stabil an meinem Fahrrad fixiert hat.Leider ist die Hauptschraube zur Fixierung der Klammer aus billigstem Plastik. Diese hat sich dann auch leider nach der ersten Benutzung gelöst so das ich die Halterung nur mit allergrößte Mühe vom Sattelrohr abbekommen habe.Geht zurück schade.
