How to integrate SwitchBot Floor Lamp into Apple Home or Google Home?
SwitchBot Floor Lamp supports Matter via Wi-Fi and can be integrated with Apple Home or Google Home (requires a Matter-compatible hub, eg. Apple TV). Go to the device settings page via the SwitchBot app, click ‘Matter Setup’ to enter Matter add mode.
Does SwitchBot Floor Lamp work normally even when Wi-Fi is unstable or the network is interrupted?
Yes. SwitchBot Floor Lamp uses a dual architecture of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Even if the network connection is unstable or interrupted, you can still control the device via Bluetooth.
How to perform Matter Setup on SwitchBot Floor Lamp without using the APP?
Resetting Factory Settings. Press and hold the On/Off button and Music Mode buttonsimultaneously for 15 seconds until red, green and blue lights flow through your lamp.

Versatile Lamp with Vivid Colors and Home Assistant Integration
This lamp works great and produces vibrant colors that are comfortable for both reading and relaxing.I loved the option to mount it vertically, but the included hanging hardware feels a bit bulky, so I decided to use it as a standing lamp for now.There is an option to operate it with a physical remote, but since it’s wired, the official Home Assistant integration was very valuable for me. I was able to link a Zigbee button and control it without any issues.Besides standard lighting, the various light modes are a fun touch – syncing the light to game sounds from the console or to music was a highlight. But to be honest, I think I’ll stick with the warm light for 95% of my use :)P.S. Keep in mind that the assembly instructions in the box may not be very clear. I recommend watching the official video instructions, which are very straightforward.

Best Product for the Price
An absolutely outstanding product for the price. Very easy to assemble and setup with bright lights and great controls. The colors are vibrant and the it comes with an in line remote control for physical controls which is really nice so you don’t have to fumble around with the phone for every change. It came well packaged. While there are lamps out there with smoother lighting (more LED bulbs), they cost many times the price so nothing comes close to this at this price. Additionally, while it quotes Matter compatibility, the controls are very restricted (currently only to on/off) so it feels like it only has Matter support in name.

Update:It works well enough through HomeKit, but if you use the app, the functionality is very impressive with what it can do. The White light is perfect for working in a darker room all day without eye strain from direct lighting.Previous:Matter setup was so-so. Did not work at first, had to factory reset then it decided to work. Seems like you can only set up matter through the app which is annoying.It’s a fine product for the price and provides decent ambient light. Build quality is good and assembly was easy.

Excellent quality at a fair price.
Absolutely love this SwitchBot floor lamp. It set up easily, and its silicone tube is far superior to the kind that have fewer LEDs. The iPhone app is great and I like that I can match the color temperature and brightness of this floor lamp to all of the other LED lights in my loft, including the LumeCube desk lamp and ring light on my desk. It also comes with a little remote control, although I never use it because the iPhone app is so useful. In the end I liked this floor lamp so much, I also ordered a 5-meter SwitchBot LED strip to mount behind my 75” TV.

Great value for the money!
This lamp was very simple to assemble and set up with the SwitchBot app. I was impressed that it comes with both the vertical base as well as horizontal wall mounts, so you have both options. The construction is solid with a metal tube and base/mounts, and the lights are embedded in silicon so it won’t get scratched or broken. I am also pleased that it supports Matter for integration with Apple Home, Home Assistant, etc.The app provides a lot of control over the brightness and color settings. The animations, at least for my taste, were too distracting to use, aside from the setting that syncs the light to the music you are playing on your phone.The one disappointment I had, which is holding me back from 5 stars, is that the non-animating options are just a solid color. All the product photos show cool looking color gradients, but I think those are just snapshots of an animating effect. I didn’t see any way to set more than one color without an animating effect, but perhaps I missed it.Update 2025-11-1:The newest version of the app and firmware have added the ability to color the lamp by LED segment, so you can create a multi-color look without animations. Nice! With that feature, I have raised my review to 5 stars – love it!

Easy set up, beutiful colors!
This is an excellent floor lamp (and can be mounted horizontally too!) It took me about 10 minutes to set it up and get it paired with the switchbot app. I think its great that its matter certified and I got that working in my home as well. (with the google nest Home Max) The colors are outsanding and the effects are pretty cool too. I have only just begun playing around with the different effects and how you can set up the colors. It’s really just so beautiful. I am thinking of getting a second one and mounting it horizontally under my tv or behind my TV stand. All and all I recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful floor lamp to add some bias lighting to your room. Love it!

Die kräftigen Farben und fließenden Übergänge sehen in der Realität genauso beeindruckend aus wie auf den Produktbildern.Die Installation war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, und dank des schlanken Profils fügen sich die Lampen unauffällig in die Zimmerecken ein, während sie dennoch ein starkes Lichterlebnis schaffen. Selbst ohne Vorkenntnisse war der Aufbau in wenigen Minuten erledigt.Die zugehörige App bietet eine große Auswahl an Funktionen und Effekten, von warmem und kaltem Weiß bis hin zu Millionen von RGB-Farboptionen. Szenen und dynamische Modi sind reichlich vorhanden, und dank Matter-Unterstützung gelingt die Integration ins Smart Home problemlos. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Produkt, das genau hält, was es verspricht—5/5 Sterne.

le lampadaire peut se poser verticalement ou horizontalement, ce qui le rend très flexible selon l’espace et l’ambiance que l’on veut créer. On peut le contrôler au fil, avec la télécommande classique, ou directement via l’application SwitchBot, qui offre plein de fonctionnalités sympas pour ajuster la lumière comme on le souhaite.Le rendu est vraiment joli et il éclaire très bien la pièce. Pour moi, aucun point négatif à signaler : c’est simple, pratique et efficace.

Love this lamp. The lamp can be used as a standard lamp with warm/cool light settings. The brightness can be brought right down or pushed high too. The lamp has the standard timer functions as you would expect for a smart light and all of this is controlled via the app or an inline controller. The controller also doubles as the microphone for the rather nifty sound response unit. Whilst it’s not a light that will extend the glow of your tv like some back lights, it is responsive to micros and sounds. These can be responded to in various ways love flash, waves etc and the colours can be set. There are inbuilt colours and programmes in the app so you can set the light to be Halloween colours or simulate a sunrise if You so wish. Fully automated and can be controlled by voice using smart home device like “Alexa, turn on the stick light”. We’ve been playing around with it for a few weeks and tried it in different rooms. It’s been confiscated by a teenager now so we’ll never see it again. I’ll need to buy another :)Great item and worth the money.Only thing is it was a little fiddly to set up with the screw driver provided as the sections need attaching. The screws are small so Use a long necked one with magnetic end and you’ll be fine.

Na het bestellen heb ik deze geweldige lamp mogen ontvangen van DHL keurig op tijd geleverd volgens verwachte leverdatum. Na het openen van de doos valt meteen op dat de onderdelen allemaal keurig ingepakt zijn tegen mogelijke beschadigingen van transport door middel van plastic bubbelfolie en zelfs een harde flexibele buis om de lichtstrip heen. Het monteren is erg gemakkelijk gezien er een schroevendraaier meegeleverd word. De montage begint met het inschroeven van de basis in de voet , vervolgens worden er steeds delen in geschoven en vastgezet met 2 schroeven om het profiel lang genoeg te maken om de ledstrip er in te kunnen plaatsen. Als de behuizing compleet gemonteerd is verwijder je de bescherming van de strip en plaats je de ledstrip eerst aan de uiteinden (boven en onder) in de behuizing , hierdoor is de onderzijde van de strip nog iets te bewegen voor als je het afdek kapje over de kabel plaatst. Vervolgens druk je de strip vanaf het midden naar de uiteinden in het profiel en werkt door tot de strip volledig in het profiel geschoven is, nu is de montage klaar en kan de adapter met bedieningspaneel aangesloten worden. De lamp kan eenvoudig verbonden worden met de app van SWITCHBOT om hiermee de lamp draadloos aan te kunnen sturen via het 2.4GHz WI-FI netwerk. Voor wat betreft de Bouwkwaliteit van de lamp eigenlijk niets anders dan lof : De aluminium strips voelen stevig aan , zijn allemaal netjes gepoedercoat voor een luxe uitstraling en schuiven strak in elkaar zodat het 1 groot geheel lijkt. De Kwaliteit van de strip lijkt ook dik in orde door de siliconen cover over de strip word het licht goed uniform uitgestraald zodat de afzonderlijke leds niet opvallen . De lamp ondersteund volledig RGB met wel 16 miljoen kleuren zodat je de gewenste kleur in kunt stellen naar je eigen smaak. Tevens kun je scenes van kleuren in stellen en de lamp laten reageren op de muziek wat een leuk effect geeft. Ook is deze te verbinden met Alexa ( Apple home, Google home, Homeassistant en Smartthings ) om hem op die manier te bedienen. De lamp ziet er erg luxe en slank uit en geeft een geweldige hoeveelheid licht die in kleur en helderheid in te stellen is , Tevens zijn er beugels meegeleverd waardoor deze ook horizontaal geplaatst kan worden.. Alles met elkaar een luxe uitstralend product met een geweldige hoeveelheid licht en kleuren. Wederom een tevreden gebruiker van de SWITCHBOT producten.;)
