Bought a 4 pack of the plugs for use with HomeAssistant. To those seeking to do the same, add the Tuya Integration. Great plugs for HAOS. Gonna buy more. 4/4 are working well.On a side note, the default mobile app (tested on iOS) isn’t that bad. Its very intuitive and provides all the metrics a nerd could ask for. Easy set up
Very fast setup in the SmartLife app. I’m using them to control the sconce lights on my shed and garage that have Linkind bulbs, so they are always powered on. I want to see what my energy consumption is if I set them up to be on from dusk to dawn. The price is great, too.

No stranger to these types of plugs. Already have 6 of another brand, two failed recently.Bought these because they work with the Tuya Smart app which makes setup a breeze. Then Alexa finds them and all is good.Have ordered 4 more. Always good to have reserves.

It works with Tuya App and super easy to set up
I wanted a smart plug to work with Tuya App y this ones do. They work pretty well, super easy to set up with Tuya App, It would take around 40 seconds to finish the entire set up process. First connect the smart plug to the wall, press the power button on the smart plug device until the blue light star blinking fast, then open Tuya App, press add a device, the select Smart Plug (Wi Fi) and let the app find the device.

Worst power management
So I bought this for power management and the information that puts out is barely useful it doesn’t graph it doesn’t retain it unless I’m willing to pay for extra serviceUpdate 7-21-2024Been working with customer service, it does have a paragraph but it’s only for daily use. My current needs are a minute a minute or at least hourly. I’m still not happy with this because it is not working for what I’m needing. Was 1 star now 3 star for neutral.

Failed at prolonged high (11.8A) current draw
Well, having to update original review. Still appreciate all the features of this plug. But, I put this on a circuit that I use to charge my Toyota RAV4 Prime EV. Even though the spec on this plug is 15A, this plug stopped working after one charging session. Admittedly, this is a high load application. It’s about a twelve hour draw of 11.8A at 115V. The charge actually completed successfully and the metrics were all recorded by the app. However, for the second charge session, even though the app continued showing the plug was working, the internal relay would not turn on to allow current flow. So, I’m not sure at what current draw this plug is good for. But, don’t use this for high current applications like charging your EV.The technology in this Wi-Fi controlled plug is remarkable. I use it to control the on-off time of the extension cord to my e-bike so that it only charges during off-peak times. Load is only 2A (115V) so I’m not really stressing the plug. But, so nice that I didn’t have to download another app since it works with the other devices controlled by the Tuya app. Being able to see the amount of kWhrs used, in addition to creating a customized on-off schedule, makes this an amazing device, given the price.

en la caja dice que el rango de trabajo es de 100 a 240v pero en las especificaciones que trae impreso el contacto indica que trabaja a 120v lo que es un problema porque si lo conecto a mi contacto de 220v se va a quemar, deverian revisar bien lo que estan vendiendo y no engañar al cliente
