Easy and Accurate Humidity + Temperature in one.
Getting reliable and accurate humidity and temperature readings should not be a challenge and the YoLink YS8023-UC Hygrometer / Thermometer certainly fits the bill. The unit is small but has a large and easily visible LCD screen and comes with 2 x AA batteries included. For mounting flexibility there are two small round magnet points on the back and a swing out leg. As with all YoLink products it will not work standalone and requires a Hub. The kit I bought includes the smaller YoLink Hub which translates to cost savings, but this sensor can also be bought separately and YoLink offers several Hub models and other bundles to choose from.Once you have the Hub, adding YoLink products to it is probably the simplest process ever: just turn the device on, launch the YoLink App and scan the QR code on the device. You then name it, select a room and press the [Bind device] button. Thats it, it will then appear in your YoLink App and can be managed along with all other devices. Aside from being accurate, the YS8023-UC’s LCD screen makes it very easy to see current readings for your room of choice and the App stores historical information you can review later. Like all YoLink devices based on LoRA technology they work over long distances so your Hub could be downstairs in a closet and the sensor in the Attic and they will still communicate like magic. Overall I am very pleased with the YS8023-UC and will be buying more to get more readings from around the house.

Great for monitoring temperature of fridge and freezer
I bought these after our old fridge/freezer broke. There were warning signs (popsicles started getting slightly softer), but we didn’t have a thermometer so we didn’t realize that it was steadily warming up.After replacing the fridge, I got these sensors and put one in the fridge section and one in the freezer. I was able to set alerts if either of them gets too warm for too long. It’s been about 4 months and they’ve been rock solid – the temperature and humidity are always up to date in the app. (And before I picked a good alert temperature, the freezer would sometimes alert due to normal cycling, so the alerts work!) The app is easy to use and works well, and setting up the hub and sensors was easy as well.I feel like these sensors are totally worth it. If we had known our old fridge was starting to fail, we could have gotten a new one before all our food spoiled. I hope our new fridge lasts for a long time, but I feel better knowing that these sensors will let me know if the fridge dies.

Works great in garage freezer
I put one of these in my garage freezer, a hundred feet or so from the hub and the connection has been solid. It’s been working well so far, great being able to monitor the temps and it seems to work at temps below the stated values. My freezer doesn’t have anywhere great to hang it though, I wish it had a suction cup or something so I could put it under one of the glass shelves. It was easy to add to Home Assistant and their iot ecosystem is pretty good

Exceeded expectations!
The app and sensors have both been great, and honestly exceeded my expectations for a brand I had never heard of before! Setup was very simple, and they have been working flawlessly for months and have even helped me dial in the optimal temperature for my fridge. The historical data and graphs are fantastic to have access to.

Great range, low energy usage
Work great. Used these in my freezer and fridge and virtually forget about them needing batteries. They seem to last a really long time. With the hub they do a great job at a distance of 20-30 ft even.

Wireless Freezer Monitor
We purchased this freezer monitor system after we lost one of our chest freezers and the food within. No other wireless device connects as easily to our Google Home Ecosystem as the YOLINK hub/freezer monitor. Directions were clear and easy to follow and the 3 freezer monitor sensors AND the Yolink hub were up and running in minutes. System is flawless and well built. We are very satisfied with our choice in this brand and will buy more products from Yolink.
