Works Well!
I purchased this motion detector with the Yolink motion detector. I installed the motion detector on a tree next to my driveway and so far it has worked very well and reliably. The speaker hub is in the kitchen and it announces when someone drives or walks into my driveway. I also have three of the Yolink door sensors and those too have worked very well. Very pleased with the results so far. Excellent results with a value priced system.

Bought this for a spare. I use this model because I have the choice of WiFi or wired Ethernet. I own an assortment of YoLink devices and they perform flawlessly.

Water leak peace of mind
YoLink has many home monitoring systems including water links, video and thermostats. I use only the water leak detection system. The system uses an app to program and control leak detectors that automatically detect and send notifications to email and mobile phone. I also installed an online inline automated water valve to turn off the water if a leak is detected. I have placed a detector near the washing machine, the refrigerator and dishwasher, and the water heater. Basically, anywhere there could be water leaks, there is a small detector. The detectors also have great range. I even put one near the intake from the well to monitor for frozen pipes.The system works extremely well. It will also connect to the internet to allow for online control anywhere there is internet. However, internet is NOT needed for the system to detect and turn off the water. But is needed for online control and notification. Not sure if you can set up for a phone call notification.The valve cutoffs are very good quality and work flawlessly. I have the model that allows you to simply fit it to the existing cutoff valve. This setup allows for a simple install usually without a plumber. There is also an improved inline cutoff valve that sadly was not available when I installed my system. This newer improved model completely replaced the existing cutoff valve. Or you could install the new inline valve in addition to the existing valve. Mine is in the pump house but it can easily be installed in the water cutoff box coming from the street.The system worked well for multiple years until I began having “detector offline” notifications. YoLink support worked immediately with me to diagnose and solve the issue. They even added an additional hub at their expense.All in, a very well designed and constructed system with excellent customer support. The app is also top quality. I would definitely recommend YoLink for instant peace of mind that your home will not be flooded while at work or traveling.

Would be 5 stars except…
I wasted quite a bit of time trying to get the hub configured for wifi with my Android phone. Finally messaged support, they recommended updating the app. The new version fixed the problem and it’s working fine now. Would have been 5 stars if not for the bug they fixed. Setting up notifications is more complicated than it needs to be, but it works.

It’s a great little driveway alarm, the accuracy is good The Wi-Fi connectivity reaches over 200 ft down my driveway. The battery life has been wonderful and it was super easy to install.

Setup took less than two minutes. Added a thermometer in less than 30 seconds. This is about as easy as home sensor monitoring can get.

Funny name, but dead serious security.
The Yolink hub is the brain of the Yolink system. I have two kinds of hubs, one speaker hub and one eithernet hub. I’ve lost count of how many Yolink devices I have. These are a critical part of my overall home monitoring and security system. The speaker hub speaks, telling you what just happend, or warning you about what you forgot or need to look after. The same warnings are broadcadt to your cell phone. Their smoke detectors are by far best you can get, even sending a signal from a distant all metal building.

Bugs seems to have been corrected. Worth the wait while setup taking place.
Review re-editing after more experience with customer service, which has attempted to address most of my issues. The hub setup is designed to work smoothly with a wired internet connection, and probably does. Setup is managed by a downloadable app. It would be great if some of the setup features were accessible on the site, but the app is the only route. They seem to have fixed the bug that prevented 4G LTE from linking to the internet when the wired connection is not available. Once the internet hurdle is cleared, then the 4G LTE can be activated, which seems to pick up the internet tasks. They are working to fix a bug issue where attempting to sign up for the 4G LTE subscription crashes the setup process. Customer Service can sign you up if the app won’t work. Once the hub is working, the sensor setup is quick and simple. The app information display is fairly intuitive. I’ve never seen a system like this where the range is as good as advertised for open fields, but the range on this system is pretty decent. I’m using it inside a manufacturing building. The backup battery works as advertised. Be careful on the power cord plug into the hub. Make sure the plug is absolutely fully seated. Looking seated may not be actually seated, thus no power. The app version I used has a bug where using my android phone to setup 4G LTE credit card payment crashes every time. Apple phones work fine setting up payment.

This is one of several products I’ve bought from Yolink. I have several water sensors and thermometers as well I use thermometers outside in temperatures that go as low as -30. Over the course of 2 years none of the sensors have malfunctioned and they still have more than 3/4 battery charge. I had a speaker that started glitching after a1.5 years and I when I contacted the company through email they instantly responded and promptly sent a replacement. Highly recommend them

La configuración no batallé con el cable ethernet, batallé un poco con el WiFi pero finalmente quedó configurado. Le conecté dos sensores de energía y lo reconoció de inmediato.La aplicación está muy intuitiva. Y buena calidad de los productos, el HUB, el cable de alimentación y el eliminador de corriente. Todo de excelente calidad. El Hub y 1 sensor los puse en la Oficina y el otro sensor de energía en la farmacia que queda a 1 cuadra de la oficina. Gran alcance.
