How many cameras can the HomeBase support at most currently?
Only the latest HomeBase supports up to 6 cameras. Other models, such as Aosu HomeBase, support only 4 cameras and cannot connect to 6. Device restrictions will be gradually lifted in future updates, so stay tuned.
What is the storage capacity of HomeBase, and how can it be expanded?
HomeBase comes with 32GB of built-in storage and can be expanded up to 1TB using a TF card (not inclouded). With a 1TB card, you can store up to 5 years of event records without needing a subscription for extra storage.
What’s the maximum distance between HomeBase and the camera?
In a lab, HomeBase and camera can be 300m apart. Walls or metal may reduce this in real settings, but it covers most U.S. homes. For best performance, keep signal strength above 80%.
What should I do if my installation spot doesn’t get enough sunlight?
If your installation spot doesn’t get enough sunlight, contact our support team with photos. We’ll send you one free separate solar panel (limit one per customer) that can be placed in a sunnier location.
What should I do if cameras or homebase has an issue?
If your cameras or homebase has issues, contact our Amazon support or app online supports. We’ll respond quickly and aim to resolve it within 48 hours. If unresolved, we’ll send a replacement.

Great cameras and great services
I bought four of these cameras, and I’m honestly so impressed! One of them had a weak signal, but when I contacted customer service, they replied instantly and were incredibly kind and helpful. They clearly explained what to do, sent a replacement right away, and even followed up to make sure everything was working perfectly — such amazing service!The camera quality itself is outstanding. The image is super clear, it’s solar-powered so I never have to worry about charging, and installation was a breeze. Quality Solar-Powered Security Cameras & Excellent Customer Service
We purchased the AOSU security cameras (2 camera bundle) last week after researching solar-powered security cameras for quite some time. Based on the features of various systems we researched on, we decided to purchase this AOSU system. We are very happy with this security system. The installation is straightforward. The user manual is easy to follow and it didn’t take much time for us to set it up. The image quality is superb. We tested all the functionality and everything works perfectly. We are especially pleased with the friendly and supportive customer service. We had some difficulties with one of the mounting brackets. When we reached out to AOSU customer support, we got immediate response. Julie, AOSU support team member, was very responsive and staying in touch with us throughout the process until the issue was resolved. To sum up, AOSU security cameras we purchased is a high quality system and its customer support is top notch. We are very happy with the purchase and highly recommend this security system.

Excellent Cameras with No Monthly Fees!
I’m a repeat aosu customer and got these new cameras to fill in a few blind spots. I’m happy to report they are just as reliable and easy to set up as my other cameras.What I appreciate most about the aosu system is:Easy Setup: I was up and running quickly.User-Friendly App: The app is simple, stable, and easy to navigate.No Subscription Required: This is the biggest win. All my events are stored on the HomeBase, and I can access the live feed and recordings from anywhere without paying a monthly fee.Overall, it’s a fantastic and dependable system that I highly recommend.

Very good camera system
I am so far impressed with this camera system. Easy to set up and install. Picture clarity is very good; a zoom feature is lacking and would be nice. Detection sensitivity can be adjusted. Sound quality is decent. Easy to configure options and control cameras via app; a default ‘home’ position can be set for each camera. Provided storage is more than adequate. Customer service/support has been excellent! WiFi connectivity eliminates need for hard wiring, but know that you are limited by WiFi range – extenders/boosters may be needed for distant locations. Solar power is again both a plus and a minus – cameras must be mounted where they can get enough sunlight to charge batteries (northern exposures will present a problem), but given enough light, battery life is excellent. Overall very happy so far – recommended!

Good system, but a few warnings…
Pros:- Easy to set up. Cameras work well, and image is decent, but not “license-plate-clear” past maybe 30 feet in low light.- App seems nice and easy to use also.- Love the “no subscription required” event recording feature, and the remote live “PTZ” viewing.- Unpowered battery life seems to be a couple/few days, which is decent.- Cameras can run on Solar or USB C power (adapters not provided, only the cables).Cons:- Re: motion sensing – be sure to set each camera’s “Default View” so it can “see ’em coming a mile away”, because the camera has a 1-2 second delay between “sensing” and “acting”, meaning if one can run fast enough to beat that delay, the camera might miss him.- “360° panning” is true, BUT be aware that when the camera hits “360°”, it stops tracking and moving, until the object in question returns to view. If not, camera resets to its default position in 30 seconds. This means that camera placement must accommodate that weakness.”Color Night Vision” means a LIGHT comes on, triggering the sensor to revert camera to color. It looks great, but if you don’t want a bright light coming on, then black-and-white night vision is all you get.- Re: Subscription fees… Aosu sort of “hides” info about subscription plans until you actually get the app, sign in, and look at the deals, which is a bit shady. Also, it’s pricey if you opt for a “Plus” subcription, which goes up in price with EACH camera. A 5-cam subscription is like $280 per year.- I bought a four-camera system, but they only offer a three- or a five-camera subscription. So they’ve either got you buying not enough or too much in some cases. Also, in order to control five cameras on the app, you need to buy ANOTHER Homebase, because each one apparently only accommodates four cameras unless you but the big 6-camera package with a bigger Homebase.- ALSO, not all cameras go with all base srstions BE CAREFUL when buying, if you plan to add stuff later – be sure everything is compatible. VERY confusing.So this is all kind of scrambled, perhaps on purpose to make you spend more money, which is obnoxious. Definitely not the cheapest service, but it does open up some cool features, if you got the money.Overall, a good system, but they’re sneaky with the pricing, and there a few “buggers” to be accommodated in your settings/placement. Experimentation is in order. Took me 4 hours to settle on 4 good places/settings for the cameras, as the only way to know if the placement is good, is to install it and then find out. Very hard to hold the camera and test placement.Bottom line, it’s a good system and app, BUT be aware of these weaknesses and check subscription pricing and component cross-compatibility before buying.

Good security camera
Cameras installed easily and were easy to setup with the base station as well. I had a camera with a broken lens but an email to support and another was on the way and on my doorstep in a couple of days, Fed-ex. Good picture quality and no problem with tracking. solar has maintained them at 100% charge. To make the snap in mounting more secure I used 2 – 1.5” radiator hose band clamps around the mount end to end and now it will never come loose.

Really pleased with our security cameras – easy to set up and monitor all without paying additional subscription. You can see clearly what’s happening on your phone from wherever you are (wifi permitting). We had a problem with one camera but the excellent support service sent a replacement camera out immediately free of charge no questions asked – brilliant service.

Overall, I am happy with these cameras. They were easy to setup, good video and are working well. They are maintaining their charge, even though one camera is not getting direct sun. I really like the pan feature and how it tracks movement.I did have an issue with a battery on one camera. I contacted customer service and Julie was able to quickly diagnose the issue and had a replacement sent to me very quickly.Good product and good customer service.

I’m really impressed with these AOSU cameras. The installation was straightforward, and the setup/synchronization process is one of the best I’ve ever seen, smooth and intuitive. The image quality is excellent, and the recognition system works very well, providing accurate alerts without too many false notifications.One small area for improvement: since I live in a bungalow, a few of my cameras had to be mounted lower than usual. It would be great if AOSU could add some type of locking mechanism or security latch to make it harder for someone to remove or steal a camera once it’s installed.Overall, this 6-cam kit is a fantastic option for anyone looking for reliable, subscription-free home security. Highly recommended!
