Tried it out immediately. Works like a farm. Kept to separate broths from each other and was able to heat the meat, n veggies on the side. So happy to have invested in a tool that brings the family together smiling sharing and eating!

Handsome hotpot that heats as expected
I can’t vouch for its longevity as I only got this recently. But what I can tell you is that it heats water to 212F in about 10 minutes. I was surprised the handles were at 98F when water was boiling. The surface of the outside pot was around 190F while the surface of the base (that the pot sits on) is around 110F. The heating element is as at 465F when I lifted the boiling pot.All in all, it is a handsome divided hotpot that suits my needs and warms my soul. And the fact that it does boil water means that it works… at least for boiling water, for now.

The adjustable knob does not adjust power consumption, but more likely to set a temperature limit.On the info page it says 1500watts, however I killed my 1600watt output ups using literally the minimum settings, with the knob only turned extremely little distance. So definitely more than 1600w power consumption, and this might put risk on your house’s electrical circuit.After getting it really start to heating, toxic smell came from the pot during heating process. I have just added only water without any other stuff.I would rate it 0 out of 5 if possible.
