I initially had some trouble with the S/W setup. The physical installation is easy once you find the line side switch. I did have one switch die prematurely. I had some trouble setting up the 2nd switch. They replaced both switches. The setup problem turned out to be me trying to use on a light with 4 switches. This requires 4way switches and this device doesn’t work properly if there are 4way switches in the circuit. So it was really user error. They worked closely with me to figure this out and they were prompt and polite in our debug conversation. When installed with a light with 2 switches, the only configuration they support, the switch setup and operates smoothly and easily.

Been using it for years, and actually planning to get more now. Hope the quality didn’t change since then. But it works well, no connectivity issues. App is great too, that’s why I’m getting more of the items that could connect to it.

These are perfect 3-way dimmers, as long as you don’t need a dimmer at both location. These have to be installed at the switch location where the hot wire comes in. The other location has to be a regular “dummy” 3-way switch. The physical user interface is great. The app is also decent, although I only use it to set the switches up – after that we use a smart home app or appliance (like alexa or google home.)

Super easy setup. Stays connected to WiFi – unlike those god-awful WeMo devices.
WeMo devices were the most unreliable WiFi devices I’ve ever used. They constantly disconnected and were difficult and time-consuming to reconnect; these are 2.4ghz band devices and they were always confusing it with the 5ghz band. WeMo are inherently stupid devices. These Gosund devices set up in less than 2 minutes and STAY connected. They work with IFTTT and other smart systems*. Good price point too.*Note though, I think you need a specific (slightly more expensive) tupeof Gosund device if you want to connect to the Apple Home Kit.

3 way dimmable lights would not dim
I ordered the 3 pack of the SW17 3 way smart dimmer switches . But the dimmer functionality didn’t work on any of them. I triple checked the wiring and confirmed that it was correct. They did work as a three way switch but the interface for the dimmer function on the app was greyed out and didn’t work either on the physical switch or through the APP. Recently I did buy 2 of their dimmer only SW2 switches (not 3 way) and they worked great both on the physical switch, through the app and through google home and dimmed (Note: the SW2 switch that worked had the same load with the exact same exact bulbs that the was on the SW17 switch that would not dim). So I was very disappointed that the SW17 switches didn’t work as described. Their support responded fairly quickly but had no solution other than to check the wiring (which I did multiple times) and if that didn’t work to replace them. I noticed that I am not the first person to have this problem, They will be going back to amazon. The image below shows the greyed out interface indicating 1% brightness when the lights where on or off (the interface never showed the on/off button changing but tapping it did turn on and off the lights which were at full brightness but could not be dimmed.

Excellent product Easy install.
Switch works well and is easy to setup. Hooled up for my porch light and setup a schedule so it can auto shut off. It works well. I have no complaints. It works well with Alexa personal assistant.

I ordered the GHome Smart Dimmer Switch to replace existing dimmer switches we had in our home to be able to control them with our voice using the Alexa app.The switches were easy to install, came with helpful labels for the wires, and were simple to connect to Alexa. Note: You’ll have to install yet another smart home app to use these switches. (I really wish the smart things community would get together and combine into a standard app.)Of the four switches included in my order, only three worked. One was dead on arrival. I wish I would’ve installed them all right away, so I could return the defective one.Other than the one DOA switch, the only negative comment I have is that they don’t dim low enough. Our previous switches would dim significantly more. We would leave them on their lowest setting for watching movies, but the GHome switches are still so bright on the lowest setting, that we have to just turn them off and do without the low light now. If you are looking for dim lighting, you might want to try a different brand. The lowest setting seems to be about 50-60% of the full level.
