I love this renewed thermostat!
Very good quality even it’s renewed! Works with my HVAC system very well. The setup is super easy and it does not require a C wire at all.

The easiest thing to instal to save $$$$
I like everything about it. From the ease of installing the self learning nest to the operation. Not to mention how fast this will pay off for itself. I definitely recommend this to every home that lives in a hot zone. Its sleek design give our a house a touch of elegance. It adjusted the temperature to keep us comfortable on its own. High quality housing. A good price for its features. It connects to WiFi so you can control it through the nest app when away from home! What’s not to like??

Just what I needed
I had this model previously and it broke. I was looking to replace it. This was reasonably priced and was easy to setup.

Don’t waste your money on this renewed product
Purchased and installed this renewed product. Was happy with the price compared to a new one that I had purchased a year ago. This renewed one worked great for 6 months and then started all sorts of problems. The WiFi won’t connect. Even Google support could not figure out the WiFi issue. It would randomly set cold temperatures during summer. As winter approached the heat wouldn’t come up. So I switched to my old Honeywell regular thermostat and heat is working. I tried this renewed product again with some wiring adjustments based on internet search but then it would constantly run the heat and heated my house to the max 90+ degrees. I have no issues with the brand new one now going on 2+years. Bottom line this product is defective even if it’s refurbished. So don’t waste your money on it and just buy a brand new one.

Works so well
I like being able to set a schedule whether away or home. Love the product. Only complaint is the set up link on the envelope inside that said it was free…asked for my CC and tried to charge 39.99 to my account. I refused it via my bank but it should not say there will be no charge yet try to charge your account. Thank goodness my bank sent an approval message so i could decline it.I had to go a different route to set up my nest. The back of the system itself has a different way to set up and it works great.

perfect for heat pumps
we needed a new smart thermostat that would work with our heat pump/gas furnace. the google nest is amazing. it was easy to install, connected immediately with out wifi, and set up was a breeze. i was able to program it to use our gas furnace back up heating whenever the outside temp is below 45 degrees – which means my house is always toasty warm. the old thermostat would always try the heat pump first and cool the house by a few degrees before kicking on the gas. not any more! i will never use another thermostat.

Con la ayuda de mi esposa, instalamos este termostato en unos 15 ó 20 minutos. Necesitas la App de “Nest”, pero una vez configurado, la App te lleva de la mano para realizar la instalación. Fue muy fácil de configurar también. Dice que se puede conectar a Alexa, pero no lo he hecho.
