Look Ma, I moved the light switch without calling the electrician!
I had a light switch in the bathroom that was behind the door. When you went in you had to close the door in the dark and find the switch behind it. I thought I was going to have to run electrical wires over the door and to the other side. But with this device and an Anywhere switch companion I was able to put this in the wall behind the door, it still works. (Make sure your outlet has a neutral wire! Important most newer construction does.) The Anywhere switch companion was put on the other side, no wiring and it works the light perfectly. A must for moving an awkward light switch without an electrician!

Constant Replacements and Now Harder to Install
I’m replacing the first-gen model DH15S with this one and am incredibly disappointed to find that you can no longer take the existing wiring and directly attach it to the switch posts. You now have to use a wire nut on every wire. These take up precious space in the wiring box, and the switch itself is already big and bulky. On top of that, I’m replacing the first-generation model all the time because the quality is poor. I have at least one stop working every six months. I hope this second-gen model is at least of higher quality, because installation convenience is worse.

Couldn’t ask for a better product. Very easy to install and set up. The app is simple and intuitive. I have a couple of these switches and no connectivity issues with my wifi. One is in the detached garage, quite a distance from the router and has no problems with connection.

Love this! I no longer have to go outside to turn the garage floodlights on and off. I can even be in another city. Best of all, I can set it on a timer so that it comes on shortly before sunset and turns off shortly after sunrise. And I won’t have to change it for daily savings time!
