I’ve never had an air purifier before, but after redoing my bedroom which caused me to see the unbelievable about of dust that can collect in the places we don’t think about, I realized why my allergies might be so bad. On top of that, as a 22 year old man of course I’m hygienic, but I’ve always felt like my bedroom room subtly harbored that ‘boy’ smell from when I was a teenager no matter how much I cleaned, and it made me self conscious whenever I’d have someone there.To avoid boring you to death I’ll just say I’m impressed. I ordered it one night and it was here the next morning, I set it up in my room and left it running all day, by the time I returned home my room smelled so fresh. And not like headache inducing fragrances either, like just clean, fresh air.I recently bought the toxin absorber filter because the reviews made it sound like it was worth the extra cost. To warn anyone considering the specialty filters, the toxin absorber filter has a kind of “sterile” smell for the first few days. It doesn’t make the room smell but it’s a subtle scent you might notice for the first few days of running it, especially if breathing right near the machine. The new filter has been in there for a few days and no longer has any smell, doing just as good of a job as the original. Time will tell if it’s better and worth the extra money.Overall I would highly recommend, controlling it remotely from the app is also super easy, it’s very easy to link and user friendly.On the first three fan speeds it’s quiet, the highest fan speed is nice white noise, you can hear it but it’s not loud or disruptive. I run it on the highest fan setting all night and my nasal congestion has improved tremendously, making my sleep so much better than before.And the bonus is, it’s sleek looking. Not a bulky appliance, it fits nicely with modern decor. If you’re in the market for an air purifier I would recommend this brand, no matter how big your space they have one for you!

Great bang for your buck!
Okay, so I waited a month after purchasing the LEVOIT Air Purifier Vital 100S-P to write this review. I just wanted to say that this is one of the best things I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. That’s crazy, coming from someone who used Amazon for 10+ years. I purchased this because I have a dog, and I came to find out that I am allergic to dog and cat fur. I have been breaking out in hives and eczema since getting my pup, and I needed something that was going to suck up all of that fur/pollution other than my vacuum. Also, with dogs, there are going to be questionable smells in your house, and this helps with that tenfold. After extensive research, I came to find this product and I am so happy. My lungs feel better to the point I dont have to take allergy medicine all the time. My room smells amazing. I will suggest this model to anyone who needs it for a Medium/Large NYC sized room, if you have a open room like a living room or dining room I would suggest the 200 version. Also, the app that it comes with is very helpful.Picture shows how air quality went from “Bad” to “Very Good” in less than an hour, very impressive.

Excellent Air Purifier definitely recommend
Got this for the same price as my Germ Guardian that I had in my living room of my dusty apartment. The Germ Guardian Air Purifier was good but not for my living with filtering dust and the noise level along with the auto mode not doing. This filter is bigger, the purifier is quieter, can be place on the floor by itself,lightweight and has an app. The app is great allowing me to set timers,schedules, change the fan speed,tell me inside and outside air quality ,filter change reminders along with allowing me to turn it on it off. Got it yesterday and go it setup after getting off my second job felt a big difference over the Germ Guardian which is what I put in my bedroom. The quality is excellent and looks pretty good in my living room out out sight, didn’t feel my allergies kicking as much after one night of usage. Glad it was on sale and came the same day .

Programmable smart units at an amazing price
These are fantastic. I love the filters with integrated carbon pellets. Coway filters with these features are only on units with $300+ price tags these days. The online functionality and programmability is unprecedented at this price level.Purchased 2 and nearly returned one thinking the sensor was not picking up anything. The particulate sensors DO WORK, but they seem to rely on particles dispersing through the air and finding their way into the sensor housing on the side. Not sure if there might be a design flaw where it’s not pulling air through this housing, but my Coway 150 is MUCH more sensitive.. Contacted support and they advised me to just open/remove the sensor door if I wanted it to be very sensitive. It worked!The product app has a functionality called “Smart Scenes”. These are not dynamic wallpapers as I thought LOL. Smart Scenes let you program the units responses to various events like changes in air quality. This feature is amazing and has allowed me to setup a “clean room” cycle that kicks off when I empty cat litter boxes. Combined with the sensor door trick, I have them reliably responding to clay litter dust within 30-60 seconds.I contacted support with my use case and preferred behavior, and they responded within 24hr with the workaround for sensor sensitivity and pointing me toward Smart Scenes.

I’m going on my second year of owning this air purifier and am pretty happy with it. The filters seem to last long and are easy to replace. The fan runs reasonably quiet, and is very quiet in the night mode setting. I think the power supply could be sized a little bit larger since it gets warm when running on the higher fan speeds.
