This is great
I wasn’t 100% sure if this would be what I needed but I thought it would be so I decided to go ahead and pick it up and gosh darn it it’s just about perfect, it seems to be very well made, I trust my expensive camera on it and it’s just a really nice handy product, seems like a good value for the money, build quality seems great, it’s sturdy, works well, I can’t think of one thing to complain about to tell you the truth I mean I could probably codify really thought about it but often nothing’s coming to mind that makes me think actually complained about this or I took a fight about that it just works and it’s great at what it does, it’s a very nice product and I like it

Holds my light up as needed. No doubt it can hold up a full-frame camera. It’s very sturdy and solid. Thicker than my other desk mount.

Works Great! Easy to use!
I shoot a lot of video, usually with my Samsung S22 Ultra. At a crowded event, this desk mount phone holder works great! It will also extend high enough to go above the heads of the people in front of me and I get a clear view of the stage.

Sturdy and Versatile
I got this stand for supporting a softbox as I needed something stable that went much higher than the tripod that came with it. After trying this and seeing how versatile the ball-head was at the top, combined with how sturdy the material felt, I immediately ordered two more so I can have it for occasional conferencing and video work I do. This thing is extremely portable, extremely stable, and is ready to use right out of the box. Definitely sticking to this brand for all my future clamps that I use in my content creation setups.

Solid design. Be careful with heavy lights on top at full extension.
I’m using with a Neewer CB60 and parabolic softbox. That’s a heavy load to place at the top of this mount but it DOES work. As the video shows, it does sway a bit, but the locking rings are rock solid and don’t allow the telescoping arm to collapse.My mine “gripe” is that when mounting a light to it, you introduce two pivot points that, if one gives out, the other will fail as well. My solution is to introduce a bit of a counterbalance in the mount connection points such that the weight of the light/softbox is distributed more evenly. It works, but is still prone to fail if you bump the pole or move the surface it’s mounted to.

Great to hold soft box light over desk!
I’m super happy with my purchase! I’m an artist with a small studio. I had previously purchased two generic soft box lights on Amazon and they came with tripod stands. They take up so much room in my studio and I was constantly knocking them over while trying to squeeze by them in my small space. I found this desk clamp stand and got one to try it. Now I have one of my lights right above my work desk. I love it so much I’m going to purchase another for my second light. Feels very sturdy and I love that the height is easily adjusted.

Ce bras est très robuste mais il n’y a pas de possibilité d’y fixer un smartphone, en outre sans le pied, il est impossible de s’en servir. Si on veut acheter tous les accessoires manquants, cela coûte assez cher

Support de bureau vraiment robuste. Je l’utilise pour fixer mon panneau LED Neewer 660 (version améliorée) et il tient parfaitement, sans trembler ni glisser. Les réglages en hauteur et en angle sont simples et pratiques, et la pince serre bien la table. Franchement, c’est un super accessoire pour stabiliser son éclairage en configuration bureau ou studio sans prendre trop de place.
