Good and feature-rich vacuum at reasonable price.
I’ve had the Uninel UR3 combo for a month now, to replace an older robot vacuum which was showing its age.Here’s what I like about the UR3.- Unlike my old robot, the side-sweeping brush protrudes past the robot’s edge and gets the dirt from up against the walls, I don’t have to do additional sweeping to get ready to vacuum.- The cleaning path is not random; it turns the complications of the house layout into a regular grid doing parallel passes which seems methodical and efficient.- It really does pick up where it left off if it runs out of battery during a large cleaning. My older robot would usually go into a confused state and not resume properly.- It has a very responsive remote with a fun feature where you can steer it around manually if you like, e.g., force it to vacuum up a certain spot.- Unlike my old robot, when you tell it to clean it doesn’t waste time and power with some kind of orientation dance period after leaving its dock, which makes you wonder what it’s doing: the UR3 goes directly where you tell it to.- The home mapping is quick, detailed and very comprehensive; you can edit the map to rename your rooms, have it clean specific rooms, specific spots, or the entire house. It has a partitioning function where you can split by drawing a line or merge by picking.- Scheduling works as advertised.- Operation is indeed quiet as advertised.- Having a self-empty reservoir into the base is an awesome feature.- Price was reasonable, you get a lot of features for the cost.Some features which might need improvement:- The self-empty can leave hairs, strings, long debris sticking out the back from the duct to the base unit; while this is harmless it is unsightly; but as with all robots there’s some cleaning and maintenance required.- The voice command integration with Google through the assistant has not been smooth; I will have to contact tech support to see how to get this working. By contrast, I could ask for the old robot’s battery level anytime for example.- While this might seem lazy of me, I wish it had a dedicated app rather than going through Smartlife, then locating the device, then opening its associated app. (Note you don’t have to use the app, you can just press the physical button on either the device or the remote to start cleaning.)

I’ve basically forgotten about daily vacuuming.The battery life is also incredible, running for up to 180 minutes on a single charge. On the rare occasion it doesn’t finish my whole house, it just goes back to the dock, recharges, and then picks up right where it left off.Smart Navigation That Actually WorksThe Lidar navigation is incredibly precise. It mapped my entire home in minutes and navigates around furniture, chair legs, and dropped toys with ease. It hasn’t gotten stuck once. The app is straightforward and lets me set “No-Go Zones” (like the dog’s water bowl) and “No-Mop Zones” (for the high-pile rug) with a simple tap. It’s also surprisingly quiet—I can run it while I’m working from home, and it’s no louder than a refrigerator.Final Verdict:I am blown away by the performance and value of this robot. A Good Robot Vacuum for the Price
This is a very good robot vacuum for the price. Before the positives there is a negative. The owners manual is very basic. While it is good showing you how to assemble it I had problems tying everything together. I could not get the app to work and almost sent it back. Long story short, I found the customer help section on Amazon and figured out what I was doing wrong. Now that it is working it has been fantastic! You can tell by picking it up that it is well built and a quality unit. It is a lot quieter than I thought it would be and it vacuums our 1850 sf house in about an hour. The mapping function works well, just make sure you pick up any extension cords or small loose items before you start mapping. We noticed the floors are clean and it gets most of the corners with its little feeler brush. The vacuum also works in between the legs on our kitchen chairs! It’s sensors work really well and it leaves very little behind. When it is finished it goes to its dust collection bin and activates a powerful vacuum that sucks all the dirt out of the vacuum and into the dust hopper. A word of warning, when it goes to the dust bin/charging station it sounds like a small jet engine! This lasts about 45 seconds but it works good. The battery charge lasts long enough to do most of the house. One time it did it all but it usually needs a recharge to finish the last room. I do remove our small throw rugs from the bathrooms but the other low profile carpets are not a problem. The vacuum does use vacuum bags but that is for the dust bin which takes several weeks to fill up. I am glad it has the bag instead of bagless. That is because the dust bag makes disposing of your dirt a very dustless task. I have not used the mop function yet so I am not sure how good that function works. If you are in the market for a robot vacuum consider this model first.

J’avais hâte de le recevoir et J’ai reçu ce robot il y a peu et je l’ai testé de suite. La livraison a été très rapide (en 4j). Très bon aspirateur robot avec une bonne puissance d’aspiration. Il a une fonctionnalité intelligente qui s’adapte à l’environnement. Il est facile d’utilisation avec l’application Smart live du robot. On peut y voir la carte de la maison qui s’enregistre sur l’appli au fur et à mesure des nettoyages. Le Montage est facile (juste quelques éléments à assembler). Bonne autonomie et surtout j’adore la capacité autonettoyante du robot c’est vraiment très pratique! Plus besoin de vider le bac et ça fait une tache de moins à faire. Avec le sac fourni, on a plusieurs sessions de nettoyage. Après il faut acheter des sacs. De plus contrairement à d’autres robot, la fonction nettoyage envoie assez de liquide (la serpillère de mon ancien robot s’asséchait trop vite). Le robot rase bien les murs ce qui permet de bien nettoyer la pièce en entier. Finalement c’est un bon produit.
