Occasionally disconnects from home assistant
I have several of these and sometimes they will become disconnected from home assistant. Annoying if you’re using these in a place that’s difficult to get to (e.g. an attic). Also you have to open the battery cover on the back to get at the reset button to make it reconnect. The magnet on the back is nice.

Fungerar perfekt! Jag har hängt min på en plåt under takutsprånget på mitt förråd med den inbyggda magneten som kändes lite i det klenaste laget men den fungerar utmärkt och sitter än så länge kvar efter flera dagar. Den har hittills överlevt både lätt regn och frost och temperatur och luftfuktighet stämmer överens med min gamla termometer så jag anser att den visar tillräckligt korrekt för mina behov.

Besonders überzeugt hat mich die sehr einfache Einbindung in Home Assistant über Zigbee (via ZHA oder Zigbee2MQTT). Der Sensor wurde sofort erkannt und liefert stabile, präzise Werte für Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit. Auch die Batterielaufzeit scheint vielversprechend zu sein – der Sensor meldet regelmäßig und zuverlässig, ohne Verbindungsabbrüche.Das kleine LCD-Display ist ein praktischer Bonus – man kann die Werte direkt vor Ort ablesen. Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und robust.

Works well with Zigbee2MQTT, i have only tested with Zigbee2MQTTOnly complaint is it doesn’t by default send the updated info to z2mqtt often enough for what I want to use it for.But I understand this is the default for battery life reasons. I say this as a complaint as I would expect most people who buy this to know how to change it.However this isn’t a problem as you can change the “reporting” settings in z2mqtt with gives you the freedom to change this to be as you want.You can get it to send every change by setting it to 0 or limit it to send only 0.5 , 0.2 whatever changes you want.There are also time based setting for reporting, I have mine set to min 10 max 3600.Meaning if there is a change, it wont send a new change until 10seconds since the last one. But if there’s no change for a hour, it will send a update with the same value.But keep in mind more reporting means more battery usage.This model has a much bigger battery than the previous model I used from Sonoff zbsn02 so I expect battery life to be good.Screen is readable, not back-lit but this a battery device so understandable.
