    Great router
Had it for 5 years now. works flawlessly

Nice router for the average modern home
This router has excellent connectivity with both wired and wireless connections. The speed with wi-fi 6 is more than I need, but it is impressive. I have echos, rokus, smart tv’s, light switches, electrical outlets, thermostats, computers, gaming consoles, printers, tablets, and cell phones all connected to it without any problems. The tether app works well on my phone an allows me the opportunity to make changes to the network if needed, however I mostly use it to see the routing table and note what’s connected or not at any given time. Your average modern home with streaming televisions, cell phones, tablets, smart devices, etc. all seem to work well with this router and keep a reliable connection. I do have it bridged with an older TP-Link wireless router, which helps to expand wireless coverage through my home. They seem to work well together, but I allow the AX1800 to manage the routing tables and assign the ip addresses for everything. Definitely consider this wireless router if you don’t specifically need the very best in speed and don’t want to spend a ton of money. It does a nice job.

Very happy so far with it’s range and capacity.
I had to replace an old Netgear unit that just didn’t have the capacity or range to handle smart TVs and wireless cameras. I researched TPLink and decided on one that had the kind of range I need as well as being able to handle the traffic. I’m very happy so far. I used the Tether app to set it up. At first, it wouldn’t connect to my computer. So, I reset and went through the steps again successfully. I may have reversed a couple of steps the first time. I am so happy with the range of this thing. I have a 2100 sq ft home with a detached garage with wireless cameras all over the outside. I could not connect to all of them without a range extender before. Now, I have a strong signal at all points of my 6600 sq ft property (wood and sheetrock walls). Previously with WiFi Analyzer, my neighbor’s signal strength outshone my own. Not so, now. I’m king of the hill. My upload and download speeds are magnitudes better, and I don’t have to put up with freezing movies on my smart TVs. Wish I had done it sooner. BTW, I researched through about 10 different sources before satisfying myself that this was the best bet for my situation. I probably could have gotten the cheaper model, but no regrets whatsoever.

Does a good job for a reasonable version.
So far it is doing what it is supposed to do. The speed isn’t as fast as my old one was when it was in it’s prime. They are coming to check on the outside stuff today.

  5. Jermaine

    It works for me.
It came in good condition. It works for my home and was easy to integrate. The settings are easy to learn, and it didn’t give me any issues. It helped fix the issue I was having with the modem my internet provider gave us.

    Last time buying TP-link
Originally I bought this router for my GF’s family. I ended up finding this Router due to the price and great reviews. Initial use was great the signal reached further than their previous router which was great. 2 months in and the internet goes out. I told them to power cycle and the Internet is back. Months go by and I ask how everything is going, and they tell me that they have to constantly power cycle the router due to the internet going out often. I take the router off their hands and they end up just renting a router from their ISP (have had no issues since then).I take the router back home to see if the router was the issue or maybe if it was the ISP a week in the internet goes out and I power cycle and the internet comes back. 2 weeks later the internet goes out again I have to power cycle several times for the internet to come back. I call my ISP to see if there are any outages or if the modem was offline they let me know that they don’t see any issues. I submit an email to the TP-Link tech support. They respond after several days asking if I could send them a list of everything going on when the internet goes out. I respond and they then tell me to make sure that the Firmware is up to date which it was not, so I update the firmware. After that, the internet would go out every 2 to 3 days. I ask them if they could send a replacement since it was still under warranty. They tell me that they would like to continue with troubleshooting before sending a replacement. A month later and I finally get to replace the router.I have 4 options.1. I have to ship the device and pay for the shipping myself and not get reimbursed. Once they get it they will ship a replacement.2. TP-Link will provide the replacement ahead of receiving the defective product. A replacement will be sent via ground shipping. There is a fee of $14.993. TP-Link will provide the replacement ahead of receiving the defective product. A replacement will be sent via 2-Day delivery. There is a fee of $24.994. TP-Link will provide the replacement ahead of receiving the defective product. A replacement will be sent via Next-Day delivery. There is a fee of $49.99I finally get the replacement and 2 weeks later the internet goes out. Again I submit another ticket for this replacement router. I Spend another couple of weeks with the technical support team and start the same process all over. After the whole process, I still was having issues and give up. I just bought a new router the Linksys – AC1750 hopefully this one works better, fingers crossed.

Let me just start with this: the TP-Link Archer AX20 is an absolute monster in all the right ways. I’ve tried multiple routers over the years — some decent, some disasters — but this one? This one made me feel like I finally upgraded from a horse and buggy to a Tesla. 🚀⸻⚙️ Setup? Done Before My Coffee CooledRight out of the box, this router screams premium. Setup was insanely easy — the TP-Link Tether app guided me through everything in under 10 minutes. I didn’t need to be a tech wizard or call my cousin who builds PCs. It was literally: plug it in, open the app, follow steps, done. ☕✅⸻📶 WiFi 6 = GAME CHANGERThis was my first foray into WiFi 6, and holy bandwidth Batman — it’s legit.• Streaming in 4K? Zero buffering.• Online gaming? Smooth as silk.• Zoom meetings + smart TVs + phones + Alexa + tablets = flawless. The OFDMA and MU-MIMO tech works quietly in the background, managing multiple devices like a digital traffic cop who never takes a lunch break. 🍔🚦⸻🚀 Speed Test Flex 💪I ran multiple speed tests around the house and consistently pulled 400–500 Mbps on 5GHz and solid 90–100 Mbps on 2.4GHz (with a 500 Mbps connection). Even in the furthest bedroom (formerly a dead zone), I was getting strong, stable signal. If you have multiple devices battling for WiFi like it’s “Gladiator,” the AX20 brings peace to the coliseum. 🏟️⸻🧠 Smart Features You’ll Actually Use• Parental Controls: I can pause the internet on specific devices. My teenager thought it was a glitch. Nah son, that’s me taking back my bandwidth. 😎• Guest WiFi: One-click activation for visitors. No more giving out my main network password like Halloween candy.• Alexa Compatible: Works with voice commands if you connect it to your Echo device. “Alexa, turn off the internet for the Xbox” — now that’s parenting.⸻🖤 Design That Means BusinessIt looks like a stealth bomber with antennas. Intimidating? A little. Overkill? Never. It fits perfectly in my entertainment setup and doesn’t overheat even when it’s been running for days straight. And the LED lights are subtle, not nightclub-level blinking chaos. 🕶️🔥⸻🛠️ Gigabit Ports = Wired PowerWith Gigabit Ethernet ports, I plugged in my desktop and saw download speeds that made my jaw drop. This router isn’t just about wireless — if you still roll with wired gaming or a home office, the AX20 delivers the goods.⸻⚠️ Small TipMake sure to update the firmware once it’s set up — TP-Link has been great with improvements and performance boosts through regular updates. Takes 2 minutes.⸻✅ Final Verdict: THE Router to Buy at This Price PointTP-Link did not come to play. The Archer AX20 is the perfect combo of power, speed, smart features, and reliability — and it does all this at a mid-range price that feels like a steal.Whether you’re upgrading from an older router or jumping into WiFi 6 for the first time, this one is a no-brainer. Stable signal, full coverage, blazing speed, and parental dominance? Count me in.⸻If you found this review helpful, please click ‘Helpful’ below!

  10. Obed Ali

Excellent Speed and works with mutliple devices at once. USB file Sharing and access point also available

  11. Finn

    Very happy with it
