Easy setup Zwave repeater.
This is a great Zwave repeater for older devices that aren’t long range. Pairing this with my ZAC93 module in my Home Assistant yellow was super easy. I needed this due to the distance between my front door lock and my Home Assistant Yellow was too great. This extender/repeater fixed the issue as soon I had Z-Wave JS rebuild routes. Signal between my door and Home Assistant are perfect now.

works for me
solved the problem of my outdoor ring contact sensor not connecting to my hubbitat.

Better than Ring zwave extenders.
I needed to extend Ring alarm signal to the furthest corner of my house, and the official Ring extenders still resulted in a weak signal. Paired these and the Ring sensors and keypads at that corner are no longer reporting weak signal.

It sure saved the day for me!
I have 5 z-wave keypad locks in guesthouse building. They must often have new key codes entered, and old codes deleted, as new guests book rooms for short stays, and I must be able to do this from a remote location. Z-wave devices work perfectly for this, but I have one keypad in a room far removed from my z-wave “base station” and it’s behind a very thick concrete wall. Nothing I did could get the signal to that remote lock, until I discovered this item. Wow! It works like a charm.I first had to pair it with my base station. I plugged the extender into an outlet near my base station, then pressed the “add” button on the base, to put it in search mode, then pressed the button on the range extender 3 times to put in “pair” mode. After a few seconds, they were paired. Easy easy. Then I plugged the range extender into an outlet near the concrete wall that was blocking transmission to the distant door lock and gave it a minute to come on and get set. Then I tried programming a code in the door lock. It programmed very quickly! Faster than my other locks that had not needed the extender. I’m very relieved and happy to have this problem solved.

Zooz Range Extender works with Ring Alarm
I just installed it today, so this is a first impression.I have a Ring Alarm system and the range extender that comes with it seems to be really weak, often unable to connect from the landing into the two bedrooms, and sometimes losing its connection to the base downstairs. I wanted to find a more powerful ZWave Range Extender. This seems to do the job.I took a chance on buying it because neither site (Zooz nor Ring) list the other as supported, but everything I have read says that if they are standard ZWave they will communicate. The installation following the zooz instructions was easy. I opened the ring app, chose install device, chose security, then scaned the QR code, finally, I pushed the zooz button. Ring then asked me to give the device a name. Ring doesn’t know it’s a Range Extender, but that doesn’t stop it from working. I can immediately tell it is stronger than the Ring device, as I didn’t need to walk everything down to the base station in order to “Reconnect Device”.I only saw 2 ZWave range extenders (+ Ring) available on Amazon, the one that seems to be recommended wouldn’t really work for me as it has no internal battery, and if someone were to break into my house, the first thing they would do is turn the power off at the breaker on the street, plus where I live I have frequent power outages.

Easy to install, not sure if it does anything.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The quest to stable z-wave networks. I installed that product without difficulty on a Hubitat network. I have no idea if it works or not. That could be my fault, maybe I need to look into each route. Maybe it works great maybe it doesnt do anything, I’d love to know

Works.
This worked where nothing else would — could not get z-wave coverage in a basement area, regardless of how I tried using z-wave plus to expand the coverage, until I bought this. Seems rock solid. Surprising, because the last “range extender I bought (Aetec) was an abject failure.

This is a great product for what it is designed to do.
This item works as desired. It also allows me to monitor for a loss of power on the outlet I plugged it in to.

Excellent produit. Je l’ai acheté parce que j’avais un problème de communication entre la maison et un garage éloigné. La communication était erratique entre les deux. Cet appareil a réglé le problème immédiatement. Le service à la clientèle est exceptionnel. Bravo et merci.

It works perfectly with Home Assistant and fixed the range problem I had before I installed it.I really like the fact that it can send a signal when there is a power failure as it can trigger Home Assistant automations. My Home Assistant being on an UPS it continues to work during a power failure.

My Ring Alarm Contact Sensor and Keypad were getting little to no signal at the basement door and I needed a solution to this. The Ring Alarm Range Extender (2nd Gen) was no help at all and I contemplated getting a second Ring Alarm base station just for the basement level but this was a very pricey solution.I happened to come across this Zooz Range Extender herr and read that other reviewers had success with it and their Ring system so I decided to give it a shot and I have to say that it just works. I now have a good stable signal at the basement level and I am a happy camper!
