Worked great for my second situation
The present Wi-Fi system is a mesh. The modem and mesh base are at one end of the house due to existing wiring. A mesh extender is toward the other end of the house (and above the office in the basement). My goal with this extender is to create a stronger signal at the far end of the house by repeating the Guest Wi-Fi signal, hoping it will reach the outbuilding. I presently have a powerline Wi-Fi extender. Setting up this extender was super easy by using the WEB Management Page. Below are the best signal readings I could get by adjusting the antennas and playing with which outlet the extender was plugged into. The lower the number, the better the signal. I am very satisfied with this WiFi signal amplifier. The installation was quick and easy, it only took a few minutes to set it up. Since I have it, the signal reaches all rooms with much more force, even in the corners where there was no coverage before.The internet speed has improved a lot, and the connection remains stable all the time. In addition, the Ethernet port is a plus, since I can directly connect some devices that need a more stable connection.The design is modern and discreet, does not take up much space and the LED lights clearly indicate its state.

Great WiFi extender
Guys this WiFi extender works great ! I got it because I wanted to put a camera in a dead zone. I set it up which was really easy and I got WiFi now in that same spot and full bars. I am so happy because I was thinking about adding a whole other router but this works great definitely recommend this.

I recently discovered that these existed and purchased one. Absolutely amazing!!!My room is very far from the internet box and so I have difficulty connecting to the internet from my room and this has been very disappointing.With that being said I must say I am pleased with my purchase because since I starting using this item it would seem like the router box is located in my room. The connection is so strong now.Instructions to set up are very clear and easy to connect.I recommend getting one of these if you have issues like mine.

Dual band Wi-Fi extender with 1200 mb and supports 2.4 gigs/5 gigs connection. It’s a easy plug-in and play with a user guide that shows you how to connect it. Use the ethernet cable to the LAN port directly and you repeat the connection for better performance or you can do the WPS which is wireless.
