I tried installing this product in a washroom that is completely dark. Unfortunately, to access the washroom you open a door to the outside, but the light interesting with the photo sensor. In order to get the light to work you have to shut the door and then move.

Installation was easy plastic housing feel solid for the money. These give off a very good amount of light using in my hallway and have not dark areas. I will buy again soon.

Purchased and installed 5 fixtures – 4 do not work properly, right out of the box.Unfortunately my 30-day return window passed before I had an opportunity to install them.There is no way to directly contact the seller via Amazon, and the instructions have no contact information either. I called customer service at Amazon and they were unable to provide contact info or help. In 5 point font on the back of the light fixture there is an email for a customer support. Don’t bother. I have sent seven emails over 4 weeks, with zero response. In addition to the Amazon 30-day return period, the product specifications in the listing indicate that it is both a one year and lifetime warranty. The warranty is meaningless if the company does not respond.Of the five lights I installed:- 1 does not power on at all. DOA.- 2 lights come on at power up and then go into motion sensor mode properly, but when motion is detected, the light comes on and stays on forever. It never resets. The only way to turn it off is to cut power at the circuit breaker-1 light comes on immediately when the circuit is activated (no motion needed) and stays on forever, it comes on and never goes off.The lights have a selectable 30 60 90-second delay, but that has no bearing whatsoever on how long the light stays on.Maybe I got a bad batch? For 4 out of 5 lights to not work right out of the box is troubling. I have actually removed all five lights because I don’t have confidence that they won’t spontaneously catch on fire. The quality assurance is so awful, and the complete lack of response from the vendor is troubling to the degree that I don’t want to risk burning my house down from a failed fixture.

The good – Easy installation, nice simple design, pack of 4 low price.The Bad – light’s motion and light censors very sensitive. All lights were installed inside closets and laundry room celling, close to the wall above the doors, however, lights go on by just waking near the closets and without opening the doors, I think the light’s censors are some type of proximity or radar type.I thought The good – Easy installation, nice simple design, pack of 4 low price.The Bad – light’s motion and light censors very sensitive. Very motion sensitive.
These work great. I installed them in closets that have barn doors and they are extremely sensitive. Almost scary how reactive they are to shadows, etc. simply walking by the door, even from 5ft away they will turn on sometimes. Of course barn doors have larger gaps than traditional swing doors. Might be something to consider depending on the intended application.

The lights (2 pack) were received well packaged in manufacturers box which included instructions and relevant fittings. Like other similar light fittings these days it was really quite easy to install and to replace my older similar dimension light fixture. The main point of note is that there is no earth in these types of light, which seems to be the case with all suppliers, so the fitting is simply a case of removing the live + neutral and attaching to the plastic crimp connectors which are provided and clearly labelled.Once up and wired the light gives off bright illumination which is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen area in particular, hence I chose the 6500K bright white lighting option. I was very impressed with just how slim and sleek the light looked especially comparing it to my older fitting which now looked quite bulky and dated. Overall due to the price point paid for this light, the ease of fitting and the excellent end result for my requirements, I am giving a full 5 star rating. There isn’t much to dislike about this item.
