Then, select the needed accessory and slide it onto the steam nozzle, ensuring the holes on the nozzle align with the open slots on the accessory to prevent steam blockage. CAUTION: Do not attach accessories when steam is emitting to avoid burns.

This handheld steamer is surprisingly powerful and incredibly convenient for quick wrinkle removal. Unlike a traditional iron, you can simply hang your clothes on a hanger and let the steam relax the wrinkles, perfect for quickly freshening up a shirt without setting up an ironing board.The 240ml water tank is large enough to finish about 5–6 shirts, providing roughly 10–15 minutes of continuous steam. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and simple to store. A single shirt can be steamed in about 2–3 minutes, depending on the fabric and wrinkle level.What I appreciate most is its simplicity, just fill the tank, plug it in, and it’s ready within a couple of minutes. Let me start with a disclaimer: I am writing this review after only using the product once, but i will update if my experience changes after continued use.I bought this steamer as a gift for my wife who wanted something simple to use and portable. The materials used seem decent enough for the price, it’s small (definitely portable), and there’s really nothing to using it other than filling it up and turning it on, which is exactly what she was looking for.I tested it out on one of my work shirts (before/after in pictures) that was particularly wrinkly (left in washer too long before being hung on rack to dry).I filled the unit up to just below the max line and turned it on. After about 1-2 minutes the unit was boiling and steam was steadily flowing out of the nozzle (this is essentially the same thing as an electric kettle but forces the steam from the boiling water out 5 small holes in the nozzle). I SLOWLY worked from bottom to top of the shirt on the front, back, and sleeves. After applying steam to all sides for about 4-5 mins total, I had the wrinkles down to a level that would be deemed acceptable for work in the office. Keep in mind that this unit is quite small (which is what makes it so portable), but the tradeoff for this is it doesnt produce nearly as much steam as a floor unit and hence takes more passes to achieve the “wrinkle-free(ish)” look.If you’re a big wig at a fortune 500 company, the results from this product certainly wont compare to a press from a dry cleaner (or even a decent ironing job from someone that knows what they’re doing), but the results would be perfectly acceptable for normal office work or casual events.If you’re looking for something to replace your iron that gets the job done just as well in half the time, then I’d recommend going with a larger floor unit steamer. However, if you’re like my wife and are simply looking for something simple, affordable, and portable that gets the job done, I believe you’ll be satisfied with this product for the price like we are.PROS:Price (very affordable at the time I purchased from amazon).Easy to use (just fill it up and turn it on).Portable (can easily fit in a carryon if desired).Does a good enough job for what I paid for it.CONS:MUST use while completely upright (will spill boiling water if tilted too far – potential safety concern).The unit is quite small so it takes longer than you might think it would to achieve desired results.Gets small amount of condensation/sputters which may temporarily cause wet spots on clothes (they dry up quickly, but it’s something to be aware of for some fabrics that may have color-stay issues).

I was very impressed that Hilife Steamer sent me a new unit to replace the one which did not remove creases, as they said it was defective. Please disregard previous photos as the steamer is speedy, effective, yet removes creases very well. I did not know that the water was supposed to boil so hard as it was my first steamer.I redid my pillow case, the dress and some other items and am fully satisfied with this tiny powerhouse of a steamer. It was boiling, but did not burn the cloth when I touched the fabric directly. Nor did I get a burn when some water dropped out due to my inattention when I did not put it down to get another hanger. Which you should really do as it boils hard and fast. Yet I was able to steam a robe, 2 long dresses & a pillow case with one go.My beautiful cat loved the hot, pressed pillowcase, so she is in the photo. :-)It is super efficient to have this steamer on hand for those days I did not iron but need a certain top or pair of jeans. It is easy to fill and is hot to go in just over a minute. And compact for travel.

Esta plancha de vapor vertical funciona tal y como una tetera eléctrica (pero sin apagado automático al hervir). El tamaño reducido le permite calentar agua con gran velocidad (menos de 5 minutos para tener vapor suficiente). La cabeza removible permite que el llenado de agua sea extremadamente simple (una gran ventaja) y los materiales plásticos son de alta calidad. La longitud del cordón eléctrico permite tener un gran rango de movilidad lo que facilíta enormemente su uso. No la he usado para viajar, pero su tamaño lo permitiría sin ningún problema y la velocidad de planchado permite que no se desperdicie nada de tiempo en dejar la ropa lista para usarse. Definitivamente la recomendaría o la volvería a comprar.

As a professional photographer, it’s essential that I can work with backdrops in a fast and efficient matter. Handeling large backdrops can be quite a nightmare, but this little hand steamer made my preparations so easy. I steamed a photography backdrop 6.5x10ft/2×3 meters in no time using the brush that came with the steamer (two brushes came with it). The only thing that annoyed me (hence the 4* rating) was in fact the brush as I couldn’t get it to fasten on the steamer nozzle properly and it kept falling off. But even with that, and placing the backdrop in front of a wall using it as a surface for my steaming, it didn’t take long before the entire backdrop was nicely steamed, wrinkle-free and ready to be used. I also used it on large polyester backdrops and it worked great for that as well. I can imagine that this steamer is great for travel as it doesn’t take much space and will fit perfectly in a larger handbag or small suitcase/carry-on bag.

Super convenient, it heats up quickly (30 seconds) and does a pretty good job at straightening the wrinkles. I used it with distilled water at the beginning but now I use regular water and it works fine with both. 250mL of water usually lasts for about 3 shirts, and then i’d have to refill it. But obviously this depends on how wrinkled that shirt is and how much time you want to spend on each shirt.Haven’t used this on a trip yet but it’s pretty compact so I imagine it will easily fit inside a carry-on bag.Have had this for about 6 months now and it still works well! Very happy with this purchase.
